Hi,

Can anyone help me??? I have purchased the wmv hd version of this film, and cannot get it to play. I had WMP 11, rolled back to 10, appied the 9.5 update as suggested by microsoft's site, all to no avail. I get a message "unrecoverable error when aquiring the license" when I autron the wmv hd dvd and try to play the feature.

The reason I am posting here, is because if I try to just open one of the wmv files, I get an error from media player that the license directory at www.moviezone.com does NOT EXIST, so I believe that this dvd is connecting to here to try to get the license. At any rate, this is all most annoying, and I do have the standard definition dvd of this, but I just bought an hd tv, and I really want to watch this in 1080p.

Any help would be appreciated, even if only an email for anyone associated with this site with technical expertise or at image-entertainment (they are the ones that published the wmv hd.)

Amazing photography and touching story of the love and admiration a grandson had for his grandfather and the living legacy passed down. Awesome photography and footage and worth every minute of it. Warning: you will want to fly jets afterwards!

This is an awesome movie. Well worth the 3 hours one way trip to Dallas we made to see it. You will not be dissappointed. My 3 boys (ages 9, 6, 4) and I were pumped up when we left the theatre. I typically do not watch movies more than once. However, in this case I'd make an exception.

I had an opportunity to view "Fighter Pilot" at premiere in Seattle this past Monday (Dec 13th). The photography of just about every aircraft currently in the Air Force's inventory will impress even the seasoned aviation enthusiast.

The short duration of a typical IMAX film (it this case 48 mins.) makes it challenging to develop much of a story plot. However, "Fighter Pilot" has, I feel done a fine job of tying a number of story lines together, gracefully.

I learned from Q&A session during the premiere that included Producer Stephen Lowe and a number of the featured Air Forces personal in the film that a number of different camera platforms were used. These included a B-25 (listed in the credits), Learjet and a Helicopter.

Overall, I would say that the most apparent outstanding difference of "Fighter Pilot" compared to other films that tried to portray a similar story is the ability to show the big story on this large format film. There are multiple scenes were Stephen Lowe was able to show multiple airplanes scrabbling across the sky, yet they were not just dots on the screen.

This new release comes highly recommended with some of the highest quality air-to-air footage shown to date.
